Doors of the Mind: Inner Mysteries is a hidden-object game in which you must help Hazel collect clues from her past by means of hypnosis. Throughout the game, you will discover secrets of her unconscious mind that will eventually help her overcome her sleeping disorder. As you play, you will be able to see different scenes that represent hidden object games. In some of them you will be provided a list of objects to find and, in others, you will be given their silhouettes. The scenes are very well made and the objects are perfectly camouflaged with the environment. If you have trouble finding an object, you can always use the hints, which are unlimited, but take some time to reload. In between hidden-object scenes, there are also surreal puzzles and mini-games which make the game even more enjoyable and attractive. They mainly include jigsaw puzzles, open combination locks, spot-the-differences games, memory games, and many others.
Unfortunately, there's only game mode, which is untimed and in which you are told the story and Hazel's development as you play. Besides, there are no punishments for incorrect clicks, which make the game pretty easy. However, its spooky and intriguing story leads you to continue playing and eventually get hooked with the game.
Regarding the graphics, the game includes amazing detailed graphics and excellent sound effects that create the necessary eerie atmosphere. The music is also very pleasant and contributes to the attractiveness of the game.
All in all, if you are looking for an enjoyable hidden-object game with a spooky and intriguing story, but with a very relaxing gameplay with little challenge, Doors of the Mind: Inner Mysteries is perfect for you.
